Research roundup

2026.09.01 – 2026.09.30September 2026

A busy month. Four new full research studies joined the library, the dosing library was rebuilt around a whole-unit calculator, and our literature watch reviewed twenty-one recent papers across eight peptides — none of which moved the dose ranges we currently publish.

The month in brief

  • Healing

    BPC-157: the body-protection compound

Twenty-five years of preclinical work across tendon, ligament, muscle, and gut models — anchored by a clear angiogenic mechanism. The most discussed healing peptide in the field, and now covered in depth with its full citation record.

  • Metabolic

    Ultratrutide: muscle-sparing by design

The newest incretin builds on the retatrutide triple-agonist template with lean-mass preservation as the headline goal. Human trial data remains unpublished — we look at why the mechanism makes the claim plausible and what to watch for.

  • Cognitive

    Semax and Selank: brain-first peptides

Two registered intranasal nootropics with real clinical histories: an ACTH-derived BDNF modulator and a tuftsin-derived anxiolytic whose research points to complementary cognitive and stress benefits.

  • Performance

CJC-1295 + ipamorelin: restoring the GH axis

A long-acting GHRH analog with published human data paired with the most selective ghrelin-mimetic secretagogue — the pharmacology behind the most popular pairing in growth-hormone research.

  • Dose watch

    Literature check: no range changes

The nightly literature watch reviewed twenty-one recent papers across eight tracked peptides this month. No abstract reported findings that conflict with the dose ranges currently published in the dosing library, so no suggested updates were issued.

  • Reference

Guidance note: single-dose ceilings and weekly totals

Where a compound carries both a weekly total and a per-injection ceiling (NAD+ is the common example), the library now states them together with the arithmetic that connects them, so the numbers can't be misread as conflicting.
