CJC-1295
Also known as · DAC:GRF · Modified GRF (1-29)
Overview
A growth-hormone-releasing hormone analogue. The DAC variant covalently binds plasma albumin via a maleimidopropionic-acid linker, extending circulating half-life to roughly a week in preclinical work.
Research profile · for clinicians
Based on research: studied as a long-acting driver of the body's own growth-hormone pulses. The DAC variant binds circulating albumin so a single dose sustains GHRH-receptor tone across roughly a week in preclinical work, elevating baseline GH and IGF-1 output without introducing exogenous GH.
Mechanism of action
Agonism at the GHRH receptor on pituitary somatotrophs promotes endogenous GH synthesis and pulsatile release; albumin conjugation slows renal clearance.
