Based on research: investigated as a systemic tissue-repair and cell-migration modulator. The active fragment binds actin inside cells, which is a key step in how endothelial and stem-like cells crawl into injured tissue. Preclinical models most often examine dermal wound closure, corneal healing, and post-infarct cardiac remodeling.

Mechanism of action

The LKKTET sequence binds G-actin monomers, regulating cytoskeletal organization, endothelial cell migration, and angiogenesis in injured tissue.
