Tesa/Ipa 2X Blend (5mg / 5mg)
Also known as · Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin 5/5
Overview
A 1:1 (5 mg / 5 mg) blend pairing a GHRH analogue with a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist, investigated for synergistic stimulation of pulsatile GH release without prolactin/cortisol activation.
Research profile · for clinicians
Based on research: pairs a GHRH analogue (tesamorelin) with a selective GH-secretagogue (ipamorelin) to amplify natural pulsatile GH release while preserving a clean profile at the ACTH/prolactin axis. Frequently referenced in GH-axis synergy literature.
Mechanism of action
Tesamorelin activates pituitary GHRH receptors to amplify endogenous GH pulses; ipamorelin selectively activates GHSR-1a to potentiate the same pulse while sparing ACTH and prolactin pathways.
Research record
- [01]Mechanistic studies of GHRH + GHRP synergy on GH amplitude.
- [02]No published clinical trials of the fixed-ratio blend.
